I have been thread painting
a floral panel for a friend from the Big Sky retreat -I thought you might like to see how it is turning out. Click on the pictures so you can see the thread work. It has been something I have enjoyed doing this past week in between visits to different hospitals.
The panel was so beautiful - and she was going to make a bed quilt - I was giving her some ideas and I could see she was not confident about doing it correctly so I told her I would take it home. Once I got it home I realized it needed to be completey covered with thread play - it isn't difficult to do as I just am copying the colors on the panel but it is going to be absolutely beautiful.
I am thinking of teaching a class on how to do this. Shirley
