More of my work

I am posting more pictures of work I have done over the years. All the pieces are original (I am not a pattern person (grin)).

I taught a class using the plastic canvas and various yarns - We used a southwest theme and the bags were wonderful. I wonder whether the girls on learning fa would be interested in making one of these bags. I used my two bags for nearly l0 years.

I think I will put the class on learnigfa and see if there is interest. I will have to make one first though as I made them out of my head and will have to figure out a proper pattern and do it in steps.

thanks for the nice thoughts. Shirley

I will give it some thought. It has nothing to do with quilting. It uses the plastic canvas not fine - I think it is #9 . We use yarn we have on hand. We draw the design (which I could sent each student) (2 or 3 to choose from) and each person would do the stitching on the back, front, sides and top and overlap. Then we would put them together - and make a handle. They are not soft bags.

Actually they would be a great project for the winter in the evenings watching tv. I will think about it and make one example to show. Shirley
