I have nearly finished thread painting my second small wall hanging of manipulated fabric.
I am really liking the finished result here. I have about two inches of the border to quilt then will trim the outsides and satin stitch around it - I have another one I am anxious to get at.
This is fun --- I love thread painting and I have found I like the results of the manipulation.

That looks lovely. The colors are gorgeous.
My daughter is learning how to manipulate photographs so I may learn right along with her then try it out on fabric :)
I am working on mine. Beading it but I think I may have to do some hand sewing as well. It does not look quite right.

You know I just LOVE this.... your work has really expanded over the last little while.... imagine.... abstracts!!!! great job....
