Just wanted to let you know that "Makin quilts" Debbie's (friends' links) is having a draw as she has
reached 100 posts on her blog. Check out her blog and see the great prize she is
giving away. It is so pretty.
We just got back from shopping - we decided to get our little grand daughter some
clothes for school - we usually don't do that, but there are so many cute outfits and she is now going to 'school' all week- we couldn't resist. She is such a sweetheart and her parents take such good care of her. She does jig saw puzzles on my computer when she is here - and finished one - that has the alphabet letters incorporated in the puzzle - 40 pieces - no help from me. It is amazing how even the little ones can work the computer. So nothing would do but Papa wanted to get her some to work on when she is here. We bought 3 - each one with 48 pieces - pretty good for a 4 year old. Such a joy!
The shops were so busy! We also got our fix of books from the library - aren't they wonderful
institutions? We have gotten into the habit of reading for at least an hour before going to
to sleep. I am reading Fern Michaels and Nora Roberts - as well as Mary Higgins Clark - none of them are exceptionally 'heavy' reading but I enjoy them.
I hope none of you are dealing with the horrible weather from the hurricanes. Thoughts are with all of you down there.
